My business career began in the hotel industry where I worked for a major hotel chain. I began as a reservation agent, quickly moved into a management position and also served on the Hotels Task Force Committee. I enjoyed the many challenges and worked there for several years.
I started in the real estate business in 1994 working with family. We listed and sold real estate as well as teaming up with a new home builder. I served on a several committees with The Corpus Christi Association of Realtors and worked on various community projects such as Bayfest, Habitat For Humanity, Dress for Success, Junior League, Art Museum of South Texas, Graffiti Wipe Out and was an Assistant Coach for Laguna Miss Kickball.
Several years later I accepted a position in our company as the Residential Property Manager, where I managed over 200 residential homes and handled everything related to property management. I held this position for over 10 years and really enjoyed the relationships that I made during that time. I also served on The Texas Association of Realtors as a Property Management Committee Member.
Ready to expand my knowledge and talents, I was offered a job with a large apartment community/nationwide company. I took on the many challenges such as apartment leasing, bookkeeping, marketing and team building just to name a few. I was also asked to be on The Elite Benefits Task Force, which was a new program developed by the company. I was one of the employees who helped market this program to our local businesses, including the military. I continued to spend numerous hours on this project, visiting with our local businesses, running reports and watching this program grow. This was a program that I was very proud to be a part of.
After realizing I missed working directly in Real Estate, I joined Palm Bay Rentals and Sales in 2011 to expand my knowledge in Real Estate Sales, Rentals, Investment Properties, Vacation Rentals, Relocation, First Time Home Buyers and Property Management. I am currently serving on The Corpus Christi Association of Realtors- Affordable Housing Committee, It’s Your Life Foundation and Casa.
